Moonee Ponds is perfect for beautiful weddings.

For a photographer who is very new to weddings, and doesn't advertise in all the big glossy magazines, I was amazed to have booked two weekend weddings in a row! For a change of pace from my rural wedding the weekend before, Nicole and Matthew were married in Moonee Ponds, and there was no hyacinth coloured hair to be seen!

These high school sweethearts had reconnected some years after losing touch, and it was obvious that the flame had never dimmed every time their eyes met.  I knew from the time they walked in to my studio that I wanted to photograph their special day, just to be able to capture that look.

Larger than my ideal wedding, but so filled with beauty and love, their day was also filled with sunshine and happiness, spring weather really is amazing, when it's good, it's PERFECT.  The wedding party was filled with family members, the purple colour scheme was an amazing compliment to the brides gorgeous eyes, and I don't think I have EVER seen a cuter page boy.

Beautiful Ascot house has an incredible gazebo and garden, that made for a perfect gathering place for their family and friends, and the mid afternoon light was perfection, and it only got better after that as we headed to the Queens Park, adjacent to their reception, where we had the joy of recreating some of the bride's parent's wedding photos, taken in the same place a generation before!

Thank you SO much Nicole and Matthew for making me a part of your wedding day, your lovely note said that you were a thousand times blessed to have found me, but I truly feel that the blessing was mine to see such love and joy from a beautiful couple
